Union Center now offers Positive Pay services to our business customers. Positive Pay is a cash management service employed to deter check fraud. Simply provide the Bank with a list of items (Checks and ACH payments) that you have issued on an Excel spreadsheet. This issued file is then matched to all incoming items received daily. If an item does not match the file, an exception occurs, and you will be notified by e-mail. You will have the option to pay or return the item(s) between the hours of 8:00 A.M.(ET) and 11:00 A.M.(ET). Exceptions not reviewed and decisioned are returned by the Bank unpaid.
NOTE: Items presented at a branch will not be stopped and are not available for review as an exception item.
